Mattel and the CPSC have announced a recall of about 7.3 million Polly Pockets playsets with magnets, sold from 2003 through 2006. They have also recalled 1 million Doggie Day Care sets, Barbie and Tanner scooper sets, and Batman and One Piece sets. The magnets can become detached and children can swallow them. Over the past few years several children have died from swallowing small magnets. In November, 2006, about 2 million Polly Pocket playsets were recalled for the same reason.
I counted 59 Polly Pockets sets listed on the recall. These are only Polly Pocket and other sets with magnets. The full list and photos can be found here for Polly Pockets, Doggie Day Care, Barbie and Tanner, and Batman.
